The Designer: Jenn
I'm a freelance Web designer and developer. I've been working in Web design since 2002, starting with volunteer projects to strengthen ties with the community and help sharpen my skills. Now I work with small businesses to create a Web presence that reflects their unique style.
I build websites that are cross-browser compatible, accessible and conform to W3C Web standards. I also follow major search engine Webmaster recommendations like those from Google.
I have adopted a Web Standard Policy using guidelines set by Section 508 and W3C checkpoints to ensure the long-term viability of documents published on the Web.
My goal is to design and build websites using standards to simplify and lower the cost of production, while delivering sites that are accessible to more people and more types of Internet devices.
