Questions & Answers
- I live in [any state], can still I use your services?
- Yes! You'll have the same contact that other clients have and you
may view your website's progress online - any time.
- Will I need to supply a computer or office space for you to use?
- No. All the necessary equipment is located at our office where the
design and creation of your website takes place.
- How does the billing process work?
- Stage 38 bids projects as a subcontractor. A deposit is collected
after the agreement is signed and invoices will be mailed to you on
a payment schedule.
- I received a letter from [an internet company]. It says my domain will
expire or I owe them money.
- These companies are trying to get your business. Don't follow their
links or pay them. If you have questions about the status of your
site, please contact Stage 38.
- How do I update my website?
- You may log-in to submit a request for changes or updates to your
site. Or send an email to support@stage38.com.
- Who owns the website once it's finished? What about copyright?
- Stage 38 owns the code, designs, graphics, layout, and site itself
until final signoff. After that...
- You own your domain name.
- You have the right to use Stage 38's creativity for the website.
- The copyright for all source code, HTML, JavaScript, techniques,
applications, or modifications belong to the original owner (Stage
38, subcontractors, programmers, or image suppliers).
- Original artwork, images or text content supplied by you is still
yours.
- What fonts may I use on my website?
- The use of a specific font (for example, Times
New Roman) is dependent on that font being available on a user's
machine. Also, sanserif fonts are recommended for web use because
they are easier to read on screen. Some examples of sanserif fonts
are:
- Arial
- Verdana
- Geneva
- Helvetica
- San-Serif
A sans-serif font is one that has no "serifs" which are the little hooks at the end of the letters.
