Web Site Marketing Strategies
Online Shopping Web Sites
Shopping websites like Froogle will list your products for free. They compare your products and prices to others (this will also help your Google page rank). Some other fee-based sites are Yahoo! Shopping, BizRate, PriceGrabber, Shopping.com, Amazon, and eBay.
Include Your Web Address in Stationery
This may seem obvious, but is often overlooked. Make sure that your business cards, brochures and other literature include your URL.
Traditional Media
If your print and television marketing works, continue using it. Newspapers, trade journals, classified ads, yellow pages, post cards, flyers, TV, and direct mail are some types of traditional marketing that may work for your company.
E-mail Signature
Install an e-mail signature which shows up at the end of each e-mail you send. Include your company name, phone number, address, URL, e-mail address and a short description of what your business offers.
Discussion Groups
Find specialized interest groups and discussion lists with topics that relate to your business. Find a group where an actual dialog is taking place, add to the discussion and include your "signature" at the end.
